Villa Gorana

Villa Gorana is hotel that consists of several apartments located between the ocean and the centre of Pula.  It is a cheaper hotel although it is not nearly as nice as some of the other hotels in Pula. The apartments concept is great, because ever building has its own parking spaces and the buildings have kitchens you can use. Villa Gorana’s location makes it convenient to get around in Pula as it is not too far from the sea, and is very close to the city.

The rooms are very basic, but have some amenities such as kitchens in the building, wi-fi, and satellite TV.

Our Review

Villa Gorana was definetly not the best hotel we have stayed in Croatia. It just lacked some of the amenities you would want in a bigger hotel. However, we did have a good stay in Villa Gorana. Having our own apartment was nice, and it made it easy to get in and out. The location was very convenient as well, we were able to get everywhere we wanted to very quickly and easily.

Villa Gorana was the cheapest, but also the most basic hotel we stayed in during our stay in Croatia. We would recommend it to someone looking for a conveniently located budget hotel in Pula.

Resort Centinera

Resort Centinera is very highly rated resort near Punta Verudela beach. It has a lavishly decorated interior and is equipped with excellent facilities for the guests. Resort Centinera has an outdoor pool, a restaurant, gift shop and more! Just the hotel itself is quite impressive in the decor.

The rooms are very nice for a Croatian hotel, however, a point for guests staying here is that the bathrooms are small and only have showers in them. Besides that the rooms are quite nice, and they do have some things that other hotels would not have, such as high speed internet in all the rooms, refrigerators, and blackout curtains.

The location of Resort Centinera is very convenient. It is located very close to the beach, and is not too far from the city.

Resort Centinera is a great hotel for all travelers and we would recommend it for anyone traveling to Croatia.

Our Review

Resort Centinera was a really great hotel for what we wanted to do. When we came to Pula we planned on splitting  our time between the city and the beach and we did just that at Resort Centinera. The hotel itself was also one of the nicest we had seen in Europe for the price. We really liked the rooms and The facilities around the hotel.

The restaurant exceeded our expectations as well. It had amazing food and the service was really good. The gift shop at resort Centinera was really good also.

Overall we had a really fun stay in resort Centinera and we would recommend it to all travelers to Pula.

Hotel Park

Hotel Park is a modern western style beachfront hotel near Punta Verudela beach. It is known for its extremely nice facilities and great restaurants, at great value. Hotel Park has everything a resort goer could want. The beach, swimming pool, tennis courts, hiking, and great food are just some of the great aspects this hotel has to offer. The hotel also offers free parking and poolside bar service.

The rooms are relatively nice although they lack some of the amenities of other hotels, such as wi-fi. Although they make up for some of this with access to satellite TV and great views from the room’s balconies. Like man other hotels in Europe Hotel Park offers a great breakfast for a small extra fee you can pay while booking.

Hotel Park is a great beachfront hotel with excellent facilities and a great location, it is a good hotel for anyone looking for a nice beach vacation on Pula’s spectacular beaches.

Our Review

Our stay in Hotel Park was very relaxing and just a great time all around. It is a really good hotel for couples and it was perfect for my wife and I. The tennis courts were always fun and they had a really nice pool that we spent a lot of time at.

We enjoyed the restaurant quite a bit and it was interesting to try some Croatian dishes. We even managed to rent a car and make it into town a few times, which was great. Although our favorite part of the trip was going to the beach that the Croatians call Punta Verudela. It is a spectacular beach and is one of the best we have been to.

We had a great stay at Hotel Park and we are already planning a second trip there for Christmas.

Hotel Riviera

Hotel Riviera is an executive business style hotel designed for business meetings, and conferences. This makes it ideal for anyone who is in Pula on business or is hosting a conference. The hotel’s convenient location makes it ideal for anyone who need to be located in the centre of Pula, or just wants to be close to all of the tourist sites. However, Hotel Riviera’s location does make it slightly inconvenient for any tourist want ting to go to the beach, because of this we recommend guest rent a car.

The rooms at Hotel Riviera are of standard quality, they are basic, but well decorated. Hotel Riviera is good for the business traveler or anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Pula and see the sights in the city.

Our Review

Hotel Riviera was great for our business trip to Croatia, we hosted several meetings in it and it worked out perfectly. We had several extra days to spend in Pula so we extended our stay by three days. Because we were located in the centre of Pula we were able to see many things that if we had stayed in a beach hotel we wouldn’t  have been able to see. The historical sites were amazing and we really got a feel for life in Pula. We recommend this hotel for anyone who want to experience what life in Pula is really like.

Hotel Brioni

Hotel Brioni is a great beachfront hotel located on the Punta Verudela, the most famous beach in Croatia. It is a relatively new hotel with some great aspects that you won’t find in too many other hotels in Pula.

Hotel Brioni features several great restaurants and a lounge, which is not commonly found in Croatian hotel, conveniently located directly in the hotel! Besides these great restaurants there are several pools both indoor and outdoor in Hotel Brioni. In Pula it is uncommon to find a hotel with both indoor and outdoor pools, this is great for colder days when one generally doesn’t want to swim outside in the cold air.

The rooms in Hotel Brioni are what you pay for. They are slightly basic, but at a great price. The average room includes one or two beds, a TV a balcony. There is also a package deal that the  hotel offers that includes breakfast.

Hotel Brioni is one of the best hotels in Pula for those looking for a great resort type vacation at a low cost.

Our Review

Our stay in Hotel Brioni was extremely fun and exciting. We were hardly able to make it into town since the hotel had so much to offer. The indoor pool was really great as we did have a few colder days. Although our favorite thing about the hotel were its restaurants, we had great times in there and the food was spectacular. We also spent most of our night time at the lounge which was also great.

Our only complaint about the hotel was with the room, it was a little small and was kind of boring, but we couldn’t really complain at the price we paid. All in all our stay was very fun and we would definetly stay there again.

Hotel Palma

Hotel Palma is an affordable beachfront hotel with all the amenities of a small resort. With very cheap rates, this hotel is perfect for the vacationer on a budget. Hotel Palma is located a short distance away from the central historic part of Pula. Although it is a bit of a long walk to the city from the hotel, if you have a car it would be much easier to get back and forth. We strongly recommend renting a car.

The rooms are decent considering the low price. Every room is equipped with excellent amenities including: satellite TV, phones, clock radios, and balconies with breathtaking views. The recreational activities the hotel has to offer are excellent as well. Hotel Palma offers a resort size outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a casino and several historic sites including the temple of Augustus that are within walking distance of the hotel.

For travellers looking for a hotel on the beach at an affordable rate, Hotel Palma is definitely one of the best value hotels in all of Pula.

Our Review

Our stay in Hotel Palma was quite good. We were astonished by the room that we got considering we only paid 75 Euros and we had a great time checking out all the hotel’s facilities. We especially spent a lot of time at the pool. The hotel is close to historical sites, which makes up for the slightly dated decor. When we booked our stay we rented a car which made it much easier to get around.

Overall Hotel Palma was a ok, if you are looking for a cheap place in a great location and not worried about your surroundings, go for it.

Hotel Histria

Hotel Histria is one of Pula’s most modern hotels and is in a great area for vacationers. Located only a few minutes away from the airport and the famous Punta Verudela beach, which is known as the nicest beach in Croatia, Hotel Histria is a great choice for any vacationer in Pula.

As with many other resort hotels in Pula, Hotel Histria also has many great amenities for their guests, these amenities include: a casino, an indoor and outdoor pool, mini bars in every room, a marina and more. The rooms of Hotel Histria are quite typical of your average European hotel, they are clean, they include sofas, sofa beds, balconies, and hairdryers.

Hotel Histria is a great affordable hotel for travellers looking for a relaxing stay on the beach, however if you want to travel into the city we suggest you rent a car as it is slightly far away from the tourist areas of Pula. We recommend this hotel for beach vacationers who are looking for a resort on the beach and don’t plan on going into town too often.

Our Review

We had a very relaxing stay in Hotel Histria, it was pretty easy to get to from the airport, the rooms were very nice and well equipped, and the facilities were awesome. We always found something to do, whether it was kayaking around the coastline, hiking in Brijuni National Park which is absolutely beautiful, or just walking along the beach. Our only complaint was that it was a little far from the town, so eventually we just rented a car which made it really easy for us to get around. Our stay at Hotel Histria was one of the most fun we had while in Europe although we would’ve liked to see more of Pula, but we still manage to get a lot done, and we definetly go back for another stay on the beach.

About Hotel Villa Letan:

Hotel Villa Letan is a four star hotel with  a few elements of a resort making a fun and relaxing hotel for those who want to experience the city of Pula. This hotel also has some of the best value for your money of any hotel in Pula. For only 58 euros you can have a great vacation at this hotel.

The rooms of Hotel Villa Letan are extremely nice, with private safes, and bathrooms in every room. Depending on the room you get you can house 1-2 people. Hotel Villa Letan is also known for great recreational facilities, guests of the hotel will have access to its swimming pool, tennis courts and a spa. The only problem for people staying at this hotel is its location. It is in an area that has a few tourist attractions, but if you want to go into the city we recommend you rent a car as it will greatly ease your transportation.

Hotel Villa Letan is a great family oriented hotel with great facilities and rooms, and if you are not planning to go into the city very often this hotel is for you.

Our Review:

We had a very relaxing stay at Hotel Villa Letan. The facilities were really great and we a lot of fun at the pool. The food at the hotel was amazing as well. The restaurant was great and breakfast was always good. Our room was a little small, but very nice inside and it was definitely good value. The only downside was when we wanted to go into town, because it was in a relatively far location from the tourist areas of Pula we always had to find a taxi, and eventually we just rented a car which made it a lot easier.

Our stay at Hotel Villa Letan was great and we would definitely stay here again, however if you do want to spend most of you time exploring the city you are probably better off at a hotel in the centre of Pula.

Scaletta Hotel is a small, modern hotel situated in a great location in the centre of Pula. This hotel is known for its outstanding rooms and excellent restaurant. The rooms are larger than most European hotel rooms and they have a lot of amenities available. these include: phones, internet, TVs, safes, and more. The hotel’s central location is very convenient for travellers also. Being located in the centre of Pula only a few minutes away from Pula’s biggest attraction, the ancient Roman amphitheater, scaletta Hotel is a great choice for anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Pula to really get a feel for the city.

Our Review:

We had a great time at Scaletta Hotel. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were great, they had everything we could ask for; TVs, phones, internet, and a complimentary breakfast. The location in the centre of Pula was a great asset also, in the three days we were there, we saw almost the entire city and managed to make it to the beach, which is actually quite easy thanks to the bus services.

The only thing that we didn’t like about Scaletta hotel was the high price. We recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a great convenient hotel and is not on a tight budget.

About Youth Hostel Pula:

Youth Hostel Pula is a relatively basic hostel with a superb location right on the beach in Pula. Although it is slightly removed from the city, the hostel makes up for this with its close proximity to the beach and all of Pula’s outdoor activites, one of which Brijuni National Park, which is one of the most beautiful places in Europe, other outdoor activities include: kayaking, diving, and hiking. However the best part of this hostel is that it is situated right on the beach.

The rooms are slightly basic, but are very big, housing between 4 and 6 people. There is also a campground and a few 4 bedroom mobile homes. Youth Hostel Pula also has 24 hour laundry services and meal services. Your stay will include complimentary breakfast. Youth Hostel Pula is a good choice for backpackers who want to enjoy the beaches and have a fun and relaxing stay in Pula.

Our Review:

Youth Hostel Pula was a great hostel in a beautiful location right on the beach,  but a little far away from town. We greatly enjoyed our stay here and it was made even better by the friendly staff who went out of their way to help us a lot.

The meal services were also very nice since we didn’t have to go far into town to get a good meal. Our biggest problem at Youth Hostel Pula was that it was a little hard to get into town quickly. It was about a 30 minute walk, but you could catch buses,  needless to say we spent most of our time at the beach.

Youth Hostel Pula was a very fun place to stay even if it was removed from the town and we would probably stay here again. We recommend Youth Hostel Pula for travelers who plan on spending a lot of their time at the beach.
